With the temperatures dipping again to the teens below zero and a near fall on the ice outside the door at work I have been sitting with the heating pad on my back for the last couple days. Today when I got up to do another load of laundry the cat seems to have also been cold as she took my spot on the chair with her side on the heating pad. She would not move from the chair and when I tried to help her move she let me know what she thought of that idea with a hiss and nip to the hand. I did eventually regain my warm spot after leaving the room again to do another chore.
