It’s the day before the fourth but the fireworks were flying this morning. The Rookies had two games this morning. The fields were incredible. You could see the mountains in the background and they were nicer than any fields I have watched the girls play on before. They played a team from Arizona and a team from Honolulu. Results: game one Rookies 4, Arizona Panic 2, and in game two: Rookies 11, Honolulu Altima 4. Rookies had two homeruns and one of those was a grand slam! Way to go girls!



Now let me talk just about Ashley and Kylee for a minute. Ashley had two hits in the first game, a single in the second inning and a bunt single that she advanced to second on a throwing error. The bunt sent the player before her who was on second to third and then home on the throwing error. Kylee had a single up the middle in the second game that drove in two runs. Next game eight AM tomorrow.

Tonight we are going to the Hard Rock Café for dinner. Having a blast but I am tired of eating out, or at least paying to eat out.
