Denver Day 1

The girls and I are in Denver for a HUGE Fast Pitch Softball Tournament. We drove from the Twin Cities yesterday, 15 1/2 hours, two 15 passenger vans, three adults, and eleven girls.
Our hotel is in downtown and right on the 16th Street Mall. The 16th Street Mall is closed to motor vehicles except for a "free" bus that runs the 14 of 15 blocks of the mall. It has lots of stores, resturants, bars, shops, and was a great way to get some moving in after the long drive.

Today we were up by 6:30 and off to the fields for two games. By our 9:45 game time the temperature was already 83 degrees and at the end of the second game it was HOT I think close to 90! The Rookies (thats the team the girls play on) lost both of their games today. They have tomorrow off and are going to go white water rafting.
